Janet is a Medicare Clinical Psychology Services Provider.  Clients may choose to pay for consultations privately, however many individuals are eligible for a mental health care plan through their GP, entitling them to up to 10 medicare rebated consultations per calendar year.  Please see your GP regarding eligibility.  As Dr. Maxwell is a Clinical Psychology Service Provider you can obtain a medicare rebate of $128.40 per session.  Medicare rebates are now also available for telehealth sessions.

Cash payments in the exact amount can be accepted

Many private health insurance funds provide rebates for consultations (this is determined by your level of cover - please check with your health insurer)

Cancellation Policy

Please note that 24 business hours notice is required for cancellation/rescheduling of a consultation.  Failure to provide 24 hours notice will incur a cancellation fee of half the session rate.  Medicare does not provide rebates for missed consultations.
