Janet offers assessments for adults, including assessment of Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD).

Many adults are now seeking assessment to better understand their own neurotype, having recognised traits or having self-identified as ADHD or Autistic.

Janet is committed to neurodiversity affirming practice, and is focused on supporting individuals to understand and embrace their neurotype, whilst also acknowledging and providing support around the many challenges faced by neurodivergent individuals in a neurotypical world.  It is not uncommon for individuals to develop anxiety and depression as a result of these challenges.

Janet's approach to assessment is flexible and tailored to individual needs.  The aim of assessment is to promoting self-understanding, inform appropriate supports, and of improve psychological wellbeing. 


Janet provides neurodiversity -affirming, evidence-based psychological therapy for adults. This involves collaborating with you to identify your unique strengths, challenges, needs and goals.

Janet is experienced in providing psychological therapy for mood and anxiety disorders, interpersonal difficulties, work-related stress, suicidal thinking and self-harm, and complex trauma. 

Janet draws upon a number of therapeutic approaches depending on your needs and preferences. 

These are; 

Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)

Trauma-focused Cognitive Behavioural Therapy
Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR).

A Medicare rebate of $131.65 per session (for up to 10 sessions per calendar year) is available when referred by a GP with a Mental Health Care Plan

Janet is also a Department of Veterans Affairs (DVA) service provider, and can provide services to clients with self-managed NDIS plans


 Janet provides clinical supervision to psychologists and clinicians working in the private and public mental health sector.
